If you have a dog that has animal, human or food aggression issues, or any behavioral problem that seems detrimental to their re-homing / adoption, please email rescue-rehome@balanceddogpack.com. We have very limited space for this program so please check back regularly for availability. We ask a $300 to $500 intake donation, and one bag of dog food for any dog surrendered. Fees are determined depending on the severity of the issue and the urgency involved. We request these intake fees due to the extensive amount of time and resources devoted to rehabilitating our rescues, All donations are used to assist in the training and rehabilitation of these animals.

One of our missions is to help dogs dealing with fear and aggression. Many people automatically discard these dogs, but we want try to give them another chance. Hopefully a new life with a loving family. Having worked with different shelters and rescue organizations, we found it frustrating and heartbreaking to watch so many dogs go unadopted because of behavioral problems considered by many to be dangerous and un-fixable. We believe we can help these dogs in desperate need. We take dogs from rescue organizations, and dogs from families that have been repeatedly unsuccessful in their attempts to rehabilitate their aggressive/fearful dog. We take as much time as necessary to rehabilitate, train and prepare these dogs for their new home. In the meantime they continue to benefit from our calm, submissive balanced pack.

Honey Girl is a special mama.. We rescued her from homelessness in Waialua. She was very pregnant when we found her, so we decided to keep her long enough to let her be the incredible mama we know she is. She recently delivered a little of eight blue pit puppies and shows us everyday how amazingly sweet, loyal and gentle she can be. Her puppies are growing rapidly and when they reach 8 weeks they will be up for adoption. Honey Girl too will need a home when the last of her pups have been adopted, for more information please call 808.489.0566 or email rescue-rehome@balanceddogpack.com.
