This is Bilo, a very high energy and adventurous adolescent dog. He was adopted from the Hawaii Humane Society downtown Oahu. It has taken much exercise and guidance to get him to where he is today. Bilo is a friend to all animals. He encourages new members to have fun and keeps morale high, especially on our long hikes. New dogs love that he gives them space and has a cool and calm way of looking for the next activity. He brings fearless motivation and companionship to all dogs and people he meets. Bilo is sure to bring out the fun side of any dog.
Stitchy is a big grey Pitbull with low energy and a loving personality. Humans are his passion and joy. Our only purebred (he really was irresistible) He was born in Kahala and (largely due to his enormity) has been taught to be calm & submissive his whole life. This dog is very muscular and able to keep up good eye contact/ focus on his handler. He has had his animal-aggression issues in the past and we work everyday to teach him to be calm and confident. Every new dog we meet is a new opportunity for positive experiences and new challenges. This dog keeps us on our toes & we love him for it!
The fearless swimmer Marley is a 35lb. little guy with a big heart. Part German shepherd & part cocker spaniel, (that explains his cuteness) he was rescued from West Oahu to Hawaii Dog Foundation and made his way to our pack. He has the most energy of all our dogs, and his speed is unrivaled. His small non-threatening exterior allows dogs to bond with him quickly & easily. They play fetch, chase, and roll around together. He is very quick on commands and tricks, which sets a good example for other dogs to do what they are told immediately. If any dog needs to learn to swim, Marley is the one to take them in. He leaps in and out of the water, while his focus is kept on his leader. He always pushing to go faster and play harder!
Alphonso is our Waialua pup. Part Beagle/ Shepherd & Ridgeback, this guys is a shredder! He loves to be a great ambassador for his kind. Already his sweet spirit compels him to introduce himself to every new dog we see. He is gentle and outrageous at the same time and we can't wait to watch him continue to grow in size and confidence. He is our number one dog for inspiring trust with are more fearful members, due to his own sweet and trusting nature. He will not engage with aggressive dogs and manages to put fearful dogs at ease within minutes. He is growing up so fast, we cannot wait to see how big his full grown doggy body will be! In the meantime he is helping us train our newest pack member, Scooper!

Scoop belongs to our good friend. He is a purebred chocolate lab puppy, and he is sweet and a little dopey if it must be admitted. He cruises around with the big scary dogs and manages to stay in one piece. He is gentle, and listens amazingly well for a pup his age. He is a little vacuum and is fast growing round on us! He is learning the exercise routine and we expect nothing but amazing things from this retriever. He is the best buddy and pack-mate of all our dogs and we are so happy and proud to claim him as one of our Balanced Pack Members.
