Working with the owner, veterinarian and often other health care professionals, a rehabilitation practitioner helps your animal to achieve and maintain optimal health and well-being. Physical Therapy, Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation are recognized sciences applied to both humans and animals. The goals of therapy are to relieve pain, restore range of motion/movement, improve function, behavioral modification, prevent injuries and expand the physical potential of the patient. Warm water therapy is becoming increasingly popular as a form of rehabilitation for dogs. |

| The working dog needs to be an excellent example of the breed, look good, move well and be able to perform the task they were bred to do. Fitness is a must!. |

| Sometimes, a more intense program is required to initially bring the dog up to a level of fitness. Our fitness programs are designed to increase muscle mass, endurance and body condition. After an initial thorough movement analysis and evaluation, a program is developed for the dog. |

| In addition, maintenance programs can be set up anywhere from once to three times per week. We offer individualized care to each and every dog that stays with us and pride ourselves in the care we offer. |
| Taught by certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor and Massage Therapist Maleana Zales, you and your dogs will learn the following: 1. Be able to safely practice gentle stretching for you and your dog and learn to appreciate the quiet, centered space with your dog that can bring a sense of peace and relaxation. 2. Understand your breed of canine body mechanics, healing as well as high performance training. 3. Prepare for high performance activities, hiking long distance,biking, skateboarding, playing fetch, agility courses, weight training, and much more. 4. Increase the life of your pet through yoga stretching, and creating a bond with visual guided meditation. |
| Each class will include: 1.An initial period for breath awareness and quiet time. 2.Gentle stretches for your dog; easy yoga poses for you 3.Standing postures to emphasize strength and balance 4.Healing massage for your dog & meditation at the end. We will introduce your dog to Yoga together; demonstrate appropriate stretches for you and your dog; and help to facilitate the dog/owner bond. This class is wonderful for creating trust and confidence building for shy or fearful dogs. You may pay for (1) Monday group class at a time for $20.00 or you may buy our (5) week Monday class package, for $90.00. Private sessions may be booked, price will be determined after physical assessment has been made by our Yoga & Fitness Instructor. |
