Canine Fitness & Therapy
with Instructor Melaena Zales
The working dog needs to be an excellent
example of the breed, look good, move well and be
able to perform the task they were bred to do.
Fitness is a must!.
Sometimes, a more intense program
is required to initially bring the dog up to a
level of fitness. Our fitness programs are designed to
increase muscle mass, endurance and body condition.

After an initial thorough movement analysis and
evaluation, a program is developed for the dog.
In addition, maintenance programs can be set up anywhere from once to three times per week. We offer
individualized care to each and every dog that stays with us and pride ourselves in the care we offer.
Taught by certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor and Massage Therapist Maleana Zales,
you and your dogs will learn the following:

1. Be able to safely practice gentle stretching for you and your dog and learn to
appreciate the quiet, centered space with your dog that can
bring a sense of peace and relaxation.

2. Understand your breed of canine body mechanics, healing as
well as high performance training.

3. Prepare for high performance activities, hiking long distance, biking, skateboarding, playing
fetch, agility courses, weight training, and much more.

4. Increase the life of your pet through yoga stretching, and creating a bond with visual guided
meditation.
Each class will include:

1.An initial period for breath awareness and quiet time.

2.Gentle stretches for your dog; easy yoga poses for you

3.Standing postures to emphasize strength and balance

4.Healing massage for your dog & meditation at the end.

We will introduce your dog to Yoga together; demonstrate
appropriate stretches for you and your dog; and help to facilitate
the dog/owner bond. This class is wonderful for creating trust and
confidence building for shy or fearful dogs.

You may pay for (1)
Monday group class at a time for $20.00 or you
may buy our (5) week
Monday class package, for $90.00.

Private sessions may be booked, price will be determined after
physical assessment has been made by our Yoga & Fitness
